Our Giving Back Commitment - A Year in Review
E.B. Horsman Cares is our community engagement program that supports local children’s hospitals, communities, and non-profit initiatives with donations, fundraising, volunteering, and scholarships.
Since 1993, BC Children’s Hospital has been the primary recipient of E.B. Horsman & Son’s fundraising. However, as E.B. Horsman has continued to expand its businesses across Western Canada, we are simultaneously growing our commitment to be a proud supporter of local Children’s Hospitals across Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
Every year, our Giving Back Committee sets fundraising goals for each of our 22 locations in Western Canada. These goals are met through various initiatives such as silent auctions, chili cook-offs, sports pools, jeans day, food drives, cookbook sales, charity poker tournaments and more. This year we are proud to announce that we not only met our total Giving Back fundraising goal for Children’s Hospital, but we also exceeded it by over $16,000!
