What is The Electrical Contractors Association of British Columbia (ECABC)
The Electrical Contractors Association of British Columbia (ECABC) includes about 145 members from across the province, such as open shop and IBEW-signatory electrical contractors, line utility contractors, and various manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.
ECABC members are vital to the construction of electricity generation projects, transmission networks, residential and commercial buildings, hospitals, and EV charging stations. As the world increasingly turns to renewable electricity, the contributions of ECABC members in building the necessary infrastructure for B.C. families and communities are more critical than ever.
Founded in 1952, ECABC focuses exclusively on advancing the interests of the electrical construction industry. ECABC operates three regional Chapters (Central, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island), which host meetings, social events, charity golf tournaments, and other activities to support and engage local members.
