E.B. Horsman and Intec Controls Celebrate 5 Year Anniversary
Surrey, British Columbia, and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, January 5, 2023 – E.B. Horsman & Son (EBH), the largest independently owned full-line electrical distributor in Western Canada, is proud to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the acquisition of Intec Controls Inc..
For generations, E.B. Horsman & Son planned their return to its 100-year-old roots and once again serve the various resource industries and communities of Saskatchewan. Intec Controls’ understanding of the Saskatchewan market, technical product expertise, amazing customer base and the team’s alignment of core values presented the perfect opportunity for EBH to return to the province.
This agreement combined Intec Controls’ Process Instrumentation, Automation and Controls product expertise with E.B. Horsman’s full line electrical distribution business and specialty divisions 5 years ago and broadened the portfolio of products Intec will offer at its Saskatoon location.
In 2021 EBH was recognized by Affiliated Distributors (AD) as one of the fastest growing and innovative distributors in North America. EBH is an active member of AD and as such strategically benefits from the purchasing power, technical competence, and business synergies of this $13-billion organization. In addition, E.B. Horsman & Son offers its customers specialty divisions with centralized and trained support groups in five key product categories: data communications, process instrumentation, industrial automation & controls, lighting, and projects.
