Alberta Municipalities is offering $1.7 million in funding to help businesses, condominiums, and municipalities reduce the cost of installing EV chargers. The Electric Vehicle Charging Program (EVCP), supported by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and Alberta Municipalities, provides funding to help purchase and install EV charging stations across the province.

This program is available to a variety of applicants, including businesses, condominium corporations, multi-unit residential building operators, cooperatives, Indigenous communities, industry associations, schools, municipalities, non-profit organizations, and others on a case-by-case basis.
